Moondeck Expands Florida Footprint with Eight Retail Locations Across the State

Tampa, FL — April 19, 2026 — Following a successful Kickstarter campaign that established it as a fully operational footwear brand, Moondeck today announced that its shoes are now available across Florida at a curated group of independent specialty retailers in the Tampa Bay area, the Gulf Coast, and Northeast Florida. The launch marks a significant milestone in Moondeck's regional expansion and deepens the brand's presence in one of its most important markets.

The eight newly activated Florida locations are:

  • Adventures in Paradise Outfitters — Downtown St. Petersburg

  • Peltz Shoes — three locations: St. Petersburg, Sarasota, and Bradenton

  • Natural Comfort Footwear — three locations: Naples, Sarasota (University Town Center), and Downtown St. Petersburg.

  • H.W. Davis — Historic Downtown St. Augustine

As a small footwear business, Moondeck is scaling slowly but surely — and the Florida rollout puts the company on track to be carried in roughly 30 stores by mid-summer, a milestone the founders say they never expected to be approaching this quickly. The eight Florida locations are concentrated in the Tampa Bay area, with additional reach into Naples and St. Augustine.

"Moondeck started as an idea at the downtown municipal marina in St. Petersburg, so growing our footprint here feels like coming full circle," said Will Llewellyn, co-founder of Moondeck and a St. Petersburg resident. "Being able to launch in the region where it all began — alongside respected independent retailers like Adventures in Paradise Outfitters, Peltz Shoes, Natural Comfort Footwear, and H.W. Davis — is a meaningful milestone for us and for the communities these stores have served for years."

Alongside Florida, a second concentrated region has emerged around Reno, Nevada, home to co-founder Joe Llewellyn — Will's brother — who has helped anchor the brand's growth in the Sierra Nevada region.
