We just got back from the factory. And we're not going to pretend we're calm about it.
Four years of development. Hundreds of rounds of refinement. A lot of conversations about what it means to build a backless shoe that actually goes the distance. And now — finally — the first production run of the Lunar Tide 1 is complete, packed, and heading to our warehouse.
Deliveries are 4 to 6 weeks out. This is really happening.
What the Factory Visit Meant to Us
There's a difference between seeing a sample and seeing your shoe — the real one, built at scale, sitting in a box with your name on it.
Walking the factory floor, holding the finished Lunar Tide 1 in our hands, was one of those moments that's hard to put into words. Every detail we obsessed over — the natural-shaped toe box, the dual-density EVA midsole, the breathable engineered mesh upper, the Slide-Fit lacing system — was exactly right. The shoe that came off the line matched the vision we'd been building toward since day one.
We left the factory confident. Not cautiously optimistic. Confident.
Why This Shoe Is Worth the Wait
We didn't set out to make another slip-on. We set out to solve a real problem: no backless shoe existed that could actually handle the miles.
